Let me just start by saying these two are so. much. fun!! (as you will see *wink, wink* ; ) I was so excited when Katie contacted me not only do their engagements this spring, but also for their Callanwolde Wedding next fall! As we planned for the shoot I asked Katie what backgrounds they preferred and she said they wanted to do it at David’s parent’s house where he grew up. Sounded perfect to me, so we put it on the calendar and when the day came I was on my way!
As I pulled up to the driveway surrounded by trees I immediately got excited wondering what was ahead ; ) *fingers drumming* And by the time I drove all the way down to the house…. I. was. ecstatic! We aren’t talking your typical yard people…we’re talking a gorgeously ethereal nature wonderland. It didn’t take more than a second before my mind was bursting with ideas and excitement and fortunately Katie & David were up for anything! We played in the water, on the bridge, made a picnic, wondered into the wooded green yonder, and all the while had David’s AWESOME dog Rooger (such a sweet teddy bear) to keep us company! I’m telling you, I totally felt like I was shooting Huck Finn’s Engagement : ) Love it! I had such a great time you guys – I hope you love the pics! Can’t wait for the wedding this fall!
